The Bothy Accommodation

THE OUTSIDE

The Bothy is found at the end of a farm track and is a pretty stone built single storey barn in a beautifully elevated position. It looks onto fields and woods and has working farmland all around it. Cattle or sheep are usually grazing nearby. Foxes, badgers and wild deer can occasionally be spotted and birdlife is varied and abundant. An ancient path used by drovers into Bishops Castle is now part of a rarely used public footpath running in front of The Bothy and over the fields into town.

The barn has a front stable door and french windows to the side leading to a deck sitting area with lovely views and its own small, newly planted garden. There is ample parking for guests and visitors.

THE INSIDE

The interior is wonderfully light, with a delightful sense of space. It is full of interest with sculpture, ceramics, paintings and prints providing colour and style. It feels warm and cosy and we are happy to welcome guests at any time of the year.

The front door leads into a small fully fitted kitchen area with fridge, dishwasher, washing machine and a CD player. A good selection of teas and coffee is provided and there is always milk and sparkling water in the fridge. There is also a complimentary tuck box.

To the right is a double bedroom with a large comfy bed and TV/DVD player.

The shower room has a walk in shower and eco friendly products are on hand.
