Several other historical towns, villages and sites offer interest
and given our position near the Welsh border the variety of them
is endless. LUDLOW, CHURCH STRETTON, MONTGOMERY, and HAY-ON-WYE
to name just a few, are between them well known for good locally
produced food and ale, farmers' markets, restaurants, historical
sites and castles, a very special gliding club, bookshops galore
and, indeed, food and literary festivals.
Accessible heritage sites abound and to name just a few, Ludlow
Castle, Powys Castle, Attingham Park, The Ironbridge Gorge Museum,
Berrington Hall and Dudmaston are all in easy striking distance.
